Services
Membership in the East Central California Chapter connects your business to the full resources of NECA — locally and nationally:
- Access to the largest network of electrical contractors across the nation.
- A voice in shaping the environment in which you do business. ECC NECA and NECA National are active in Local, State, and Federal legislative activities.
- We negotiate the Inside Wireman's Agreement for the Fresno, Madera, Tulare, and Kings area with a committee of local contractors appointed from the NECA membership. This is called a multiemployer collective bargaining agreement, which helps keep things fair.
- Access to NECA Chapter Managers throughout the State and Nation to help you with jobs locally and nationally.
- Ability to provide input for the local Collective Bargaining Agreement with the IBEW.
- Ability to provide input to better the local JATC where we train people to fill our workforce.
- Labor Relations regarding the negotiated Collective Bargaining Agreement with the local IBEW. We represent the employers of the negotiated Collective Bargaining Agreement. If a grievance or questions arise regarding the agreement, we are here to help.
- Locally sponsored drug testing program to help keep your jobsites safe.
- Books and software on virtually every topic in the industry to help further your business.
- An opportunity to become involved with the local JATC (Joint Apprenticeship Training Center), as well as other local committees.
- Licensing.
- Online education courses, as well as in-seat courses, are always available, and many at no cost.
- ELECTRI funds, conducts, coordinates, and monitors the industry's most critical research and commissions and delivers exemplary management education and supervisory training programs. Our Chapter is a founding member of ELECTRI, so we have input on the research that will guide us in the future.
- NECA DOL-approved Project Manager Apprenticeship.
Access to Premier Partners
Premier Partners connect NECA members to the leading companies in the electrical construction industry — including Milwaukee Tool, Graybar, 3M, Day & Night Solar, Federated Insurance, Greenlee, Procore, Southwire, United Rentals, and Schneider Electric. All of NECA's Premier Partners offer specialty trainings in their respective fields of expertise at no cost to NECA Chapters.
NECA is here to help electrical contractors and their companies. If there is something that a company sees that can further push the electrical industry in a legal and positive direction, NECA works hard to make that happen locally and nationally.
